So who am I?

My name is Neil McIlroy

My name is Neil McIlroy and I have a strong passion for web design and development. I live in Hampshire and work for a company called Evenbase who are part of A & N Media. I strive to create a rich online experience that engages the user and to make the web an easy thing to use.

I specialise in standards based semantic XHTML and CSS web design using the latest technologies and software. I ensure that every site I produce has pixel perfect markup and I'm fully conversant with cross browser compatibility/quirks and W3C compliance.

Each site I design is built to be SEO friendly using the latest design principles and techniques. With a strong emphasis on UX and UI / identity design I have a proven track record of producing creative, professional websites that actually work.

My specialities include:

  • Web Design (UX Journeys, Layout, Colour Theory)
  • Web Development (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Email Design)
  • Photoshop Trickery (UI Design, Branding, Icons, Illustrations)
  • Code Integration, SEO and all things involving ‘best practise’
